Benjamin Achenbach is a leadership coach, breathwork coach, and father of three.

He accompanies teams and leaders in training and coaching, for example at Education First.

For over two decades, he has worked at the intersection of leadership and corporate culture, holding various roles in startups, scale-ups, and international corporations.

Shaped by competitive sports, entrepreneurial:

He combines his experience and training in breath and bodywork with personal healing processes and modern organizational development, ensuring that change doesn't just stay in the mind but is effective in everyday life.

In his life, he seems to have achieved everything—and yet lost it all. It was only through a personal crisis that he found his way back to himself. Today, he helps people and organizations to step out of constant functioning, to recognize their potential, and to live new forms of success.

About his book:

What happens when a life shines on the outside while it's breaking apart on the inside?

In this book, Benjamin Achenbach describes his path out of a system of achievement, expectation, and silence. From the golden cage of his childhood and career, through the moment of collapse, to liberation and reorientation, he recounts the experiences that fundamentally changed his life.

“Liberation" connects personal experiences with societal analysis. It examines how family imprints, career logics, and performance pressure affect people, what role bodies, breath, and intuition play in transformation processes, and what conditions are crucial for a redefinition of success.

The book illuminates how crises, traumas, and losses can be not only endpoints but often starting points for deeper insights and developments.

It shows how inner mindfulness, listening to one's own body, and the ability to be authentic are essential levers for personal transformation.

“Liberation" is therefore not just a life story, but a contribution to the societal debate about performance, vulnerability, and paths to true freedom.
