Encountering my inner parts that had been suppressed for so long and perceiving their voices and needs was unsettling and painful. The subsequent integration and loving acceptance of these parts was extremely liberating, coupled with a sense of wholeness. Since then, I no longer view my supposed weaknesses as weaknesses, but simply as a part of me. Since then, the sentence \u201eBe brave and show who you really are\u201c has stayed with me.
